1,200 people participated, and the survey period was eight days from May 18 to May 28, 2021, and data were collected through a telephone interview survey method. The general characteristics of the subjects were analyzed with frequency. The recognition of dementia diseases according to gender, marital status, educational background, dementia family status, and cohabitation was independently tested, and Pearson's correlation was analyzed for recognition of dementia diseases according to age and education. The statistical significance level was 0.05.
Results : The awareness of dementia disease showed a significant difference according to gender and marital status, and there was no significant difference in the presence or absence of dementia families and whether they lived together with dementia families. The perception of dementia disease, age, and education level all showed negative (-) correlations.
